Until POOL GARDEN is created
日本は、1億25万人国家。
社会の秩序を守るためには、「規則」がどうしても必要になります。でも、休みの時まで「規則」に縛られていたら、ゆっくりリラックスもできませんよね。
ストレスやプレッシャーがかかる仕事をしている人によって、週末にゆっくり休むことは必須で、贅沢なことではありません。
POOL GARDENを作ったきっかけは、東京からあまり遠くないところに、自然に囲まれ「規則」に縛られることなくゆったりできる場所が欲しかったから。
私がPOOL GARDENを作ったというよりも、POOL GARDENが生まれ、育つのを手伝っただけ。
静けさや穏やかさは元々あったもの。私はただ、環境を整える役割をしているだけだと思っています。また、POOL GARDENが山の中のオアシスとして誕生した今、自分だけのものにしておくのはもったいない。このオアシスを家族や友人にもシェアしたいと、自然に思うようになりました。
いつの間にか、週末になると誰かが遊びに来るそんな場所になっていました。おかげさまで、プールで泳ぎ、美味しいものを食べたり、飲んだりしながら、新しい人に出会い、豊かな時間を過ごすことを一緒に楽しめる、そんなゲストがたくさん集まってきてくださっています。
POOL GARDENは、まだ、始まったばかり。大人が童心に戻れる場所になるように、大切に育てていきたいと思っています。POOL GARDENがこの先どんな表情を見せてくれるようになるのか、未知数ですが、規則にしばられずに、羽を伸ばしてリラックスできる場所、でありつつけることだけは確かです。
With a population of 125 million it, Japan relies on rules to keep order and ensure fairness for all; however, it is difficult to truly relax when your relaxation is also governed by rules.
For many who are working in a high-pressure job the need to relax at weekends is not a luxury, it a necessity.
Pool Garden was created as a place to relax free from rules and enjoy the simple pleasures of nature without traveling far from Tokyo.
You could say that Pool Garden created itself and I helped with its development, because the peace and quiet were always there and I only worked out how to enjoy it with ease.
After developing Pool Garden to a mountain oasis of tranquillity it seemed only fair to share with my friends and family.
Very quickly it because clear that I was not alone in my search for regular relaxation, so we decided to welcome regular visitors at weekends.
We have been lucky enough to have attracted the right kind of guest who are interested in relaxing by the pool with good food and cold drinks, as well as meeting new people.
Pool Garden is still an infant and we enjoy watching it grow to a place where adults can be children again.
As with all infants, we are not sure how Pool Garden will be when it becomes a more mature venture, but one thing is for sure, relaxation will always be prioritized over rules.
